INTRODUCTION
This is an ongoing project that I started while i was at Goldsmith's, University of London (2011).
As a Taiwanese living in London, I have noticed many acts of kindness during quotidian details; but when talking about giving up seats on public transport, it becomes an anomaly. While we have been advocated that giving up seats to someone who needs it is an act of kindness, still, it is difficult to make this benignity into an action. Therefore, ‘Priority seating’ has been a recent strategy in most countries to encourage passengers to give up their seats to people who need it.
But somehow, there are still people who occupy priority seats even when seeing someone in a poor condition to stand. Apparently, the virtuous value behind ‘priority seating’ is not pervasive within the public. I start to question, what is the meaning of the “priority seat”? Do we really need it? Or do we need a new doctrine of moral virtues instead. I feel urged to reform priority seating and to change public convention, furthermore, to contribute moral value through this project.
This is an "EDUCATION OF ATTENTION".

UNDERSTANDING THE PROBLEM
People in big cities are less likely to notice, greet or offer help to someone else as they are tend to hide themselves into a self-absorbed state in crowded places, sociologists call this syndrome the “urban trance”. It might explains why sometimes a pregnant woman or a disabled person on public transport can get no attention from others to give them a seat.
OBSERVATION
I aim to observe passengers’ behaviour, since there is no interaction between each passenger on the tube, soon I notice that passengers fall into their own personal distance.
I find the number of the electronic device users is rather high on the tube, for instance, mobile phone, MP3, Ipad, E-book… etc. Therefore, I decide that I must input my idea into the exist benefits.

BODYSTORMING
Bodystorming is useful for generating empathy for users, it provides clues about the impact of the environment on the user experience, help designers quicker and easier to understand user's need and feeling.
I NOTICE you, I FEEL with you, and I RESPOND by helping you.
SOLUTION IDEATION
Once I was able to have a deep understanding of the problems, I was able to start thinking of solutions.
-Sketchboads and Personas-
Sketchboard is a low-fi technique that makes it possible to explore and evaluate a range of interaction concepts. the sketchboard quickly performs iterations on many possible solutions and then singles out the best user experience to document and build upon.
